I wanted a smooth rolling low profile spool holder for my MMU2 that I am setting up. A wall mount fit my space the best. It is still a work in progress so I currently only have one mounted to the wall.I got the idea from FloatingCam’s design. It did not match exactly what I wanted so I made my own based off the idea. I didn’t want to have to move bearings or have specific holders for different brands I wanted something more universal to work with any spool. I printed the roller inset in two pieces to ensure I had perfect cavities for the 2 608 bearings that get pressed into the ends. It is then inserted into the main body and held in place by press fitting the 8mm aluminum rods that came with the MMU2S into and through the roller. NOTE: it is a very tight fit for the rods and the
