Ridvan means “paradise” in Persian. It’s named for the Garden of Ridván outside of Baghdad, where the Baha’i prophet Baháʼu’lláh stayed for twelve days after the Ottoman Empire sent him into exile.Ridvan is the holiest Baháʼí festival because it commemorates the very beginning of our faith. Baha’u’llah declared his mission as the Promi
