The main idea was to make the hook longer because when I try to put the keys I always bump into the box with my fingers and it really annoys a lot (the distance between the box and the tip of the hook is only 15 mm, besides, the box covers the hook with its width. You need to make really precise movements of your fingers to put or take off the ring with the keys. I prolonged the tail for additional 20 mm and now the box is not on the way of fingers and everything’s fine here. But when I changed the tail I found that the whole construction is rather weak for heavy keys. If you pull the tail too hard, it will fall off because it is only attached with the help of 2 small pins and the pin holes on the lever are very thin and bend easily, thus letting the tail fall off when you pull it.
