When using Z-Wave and Zigbee dongles with Home Assistant on Raspberry Pi, it is recommended to use short extension cables to improve the reliability of the wireless adapters.I really like CatPadThai’s version of pyrho’s snap fit case, so I found a snap fit USB extension holder design, and mixed them together.I am using the 52Pi NVMe+PoE hat, which is taller than this design allows (the capacitor and isolation transformer get in the way), but instead of spending time increasing the height, I cut some holes in the top piece. At some point I will probably increase the height and reprint it.
